THE GRANGE


Heritage Mississauga is located in the Historic Robinson-Adamson House which is nestled on the scenic landscape known as The Grange. Visitors are encouraged to stop in for a tour of the house, to meet the staff, have a discussion with our Historian and enjoy one of our current exhibits.

History of the Building

“The Grange” was built for Sir John Beverley Robinson, the first Chief Justice of Upper Canada, for the dual purpose of being a government office and a rural retreat from his rigorous professional schedule. Learn more…
