The Dufferin County Museum and Archives strives to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Dufferin County. Opened to the public in October, 1994, the DCMA is unique among Canadian community museums. The Halton County Museum was founded in 1961. In 1974 it became the responsibility of the Region when the new Regional Municipality of Halton was formed. In 2014, Regional Council adopted a new Master Plan for the Museum under which it is being transformed into Heritage Services, which supports regional heritage organizations and institutions and cares for Regionally-owned heritage assets. Built in 1852, Historic Bovaird House is the only heritage home open to the public within Brampton. Over thirty very dedicated and un-paid volunteers staff the house and conduct guided tours every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:00pm, mid-February through mid-December. There is no set charge for tours, but donations are MUCH appreciated as they enable us to purchase authentic furnishings and artifacts from the 19th century. The Orlinski Museum is located in the Wawel Villa Senior home. One of the most renowned veterans was Col. Pilot Boleslaw Orlinski, a Polish aviator, whose dream it was to create a museum in memory of the many Polish veterans who call Canada their home. Orlinski passed away on February 28, 1992, leaving his memorabilia and funds to achieve this dream. As a means of honouring Boleslaw Orlinski’s wishes and the other Polish veteran’s residents at Wawel Villa, the Orlinski Museum was founded in 2002, and officially incorporated as a not-for-profit in 2019. Orlinski Musuem is dedicated to preserving the stories and artifacts of Polish veterans and educating the public as to the sacrifices they made to ensure our freedom. Although most of the Polish veterans of World War II are now gone, Orlinski Museum continues to keep the spirit and memory of Polish Canadian heroes alive.

The Bell Tower Museum was established in 1995 to store St. Peter’s archives.
There is a collection of photos, newspaper clippings, artifacts and written records of St. Peter’s, its people and the early community of Erindale.
Begun by Thompson (Tommy) Adamson, a descendant of the founders of St.Peter’s, the museum committee welcomes any contributions to our local museum.
The 175 Years of History, a book of Tommy Adamson’s memories and the early life of St. Peter’s, was published in 2000.
There is also a Thompson Adamson Reference Library in the upper level of the narthex.
Visitors to the Church are welcome to explore the Bell Tower museum, which is accessible through the nave.
